I’m Sallyann Crowe, a printmaker based in Devon.

My work is inspired by the landscape and wildlife around me — from the birds and animals I encounter to the plants, textures and rugged forms of Dartmoor.

I work with linocut, botanical printing and mixed printmaking techniques, combining traditional handmade marks with a contemporary approach to colour and composition.

As The Crowe Flies brings these strands together — work rooted in nature, place, observation and the pleasure of making.
